Exodi is releasing a new skinline today called Dael.  This is such a pretty skin and deserves a demo test!  Tp over to Exodi today and try it out! Dael is a pretty skin available in 4 skin tones, 10 makeups per tone, with light and dark brows, freckles, and cleavage options for each. Individual skins will be sold for $1,000L, with packs of 5 going for $3,000L and the fatpack of 10 skins for $5,000L.

The overall look of the Dael is beautiful.  Deal has gorgeous features, great shading and highlights, and you can tell hours of attention to detail took up a lot of Rykers time.  My favorite part of the skin is the subtle glow which is perfect for summer looks.  I love all the makeup choices Dael has to offer.  The eye shadows have to be my favorite and are all very playful.  I love the pouty lips, but I do wish the lower lip wasn’t so shaded; if it was just a tad lighter it would be perfect; but the shading is not that noticeable and doesn’t take anything away from the beauty in the face.  I also am not a fan of extra highlighting around the top lip.  A small amount is ok but I could do without it all together.  

The things I didn’t like about the skin are minor imperfections that are really not noticeable.   The nostril shading is too dark for me, there are a few seams that are in hidden places (back of the neck and ankles), and I am not a fan of the nipples (too big and I do not like the photo sourced texture).  These things are very minor and I will not notice them much b/c I wear prim shoes a lot that covers the ankle, I am rarely topless in photos, and I will live with extra shading in my nose I would still encourage you to buy this skin because it is very beautiful and the overall look is amazing.

Yesterday was my third rezday. How very weird. It seems like an odd concept, to celebrate being such a huge nerd that when you tell your friends what you do for a living, they look at you funny. Or worse, think they understand! It usually goes like this:

Me: I use 3d rendering software to position avatars, it allows people to take photos of themselves in Second Life

Friend: Like, sex animations?

Me: No, not sex animations. Just normal stands, and some poses for multiple avatars, so they can take photos with their friends

Friend: What, people have friends?

Me: Of course!

Friend: And then they have sex with them? Cos that’s all people do in Second Life, right?

Me: *sigh* Right.

Anyway. Here’s my rezday outfit, and a bunch of reflection on what Second Life means to me. But you don’t have to read that. Look at the pretty outfit.

Lookit the pretty necklace. Vintage McMillan, purveyor of cute hair, shiny sunglasses (like the ones pictured) and my faaavourite necklaces on the whole grid under the brand [mpb] shared some of his loooovely new stuff with me. The arrival of a mysterious brand called fri.day made a lot of people scratch their chins. Here are some apparent newcomers, accounts created within the last month, all sharing the surname “Monday” – and teaser pictures and a drool-worthy blog have only increased the hype. When a request for bloggers to send notecards to one of the Mondays, and in turn the first ten would receive a review pack, I (literally) dropped my toast and created the card. And then, a beautiful thing happened.
