Fashioncracked

Luck Inc is one of those brands that has a huge but specific market in SL — it does incredibly well with the sexy/punk avatars that want a cute little minidress or some low slung jeans, but hasn’t quite got the recognition it deserves as a fashion brand.

It first caught my eye for the detailing and the pricing of the items – you can get incredible jeans for not much more than 100L, shirts are a similar price, and nothing in the store comes from templates — everything is hand drawn by an incredible artist. The patterns and options included in everything are not reflected at all in the price – everything comes on all layers, with different wear styles, for example the bikinis released recently come with the option of wearing a lifted shirt over them, or without, or the shirt on its own.

The store is currently having a run on minidresses, which are about as short as a dress can be without flashing your lady garden at passers by. I strongly suggest you cam around the back for a naughty flash of buttcrack, too — not everyone’s cup of tea, but definitely mine. (Why do you think the blog is called Fashion Cracked?! Thanks Gypsy!)

These minidresses are a new set of colours of the recently released but patterned dresses. Personally, I prefer block colours to patterns anyway, so I was so excited about these.

The leggings shown in a number of the images are also from Luck Inc, and are more of my wardrobe staples that I can’t live without. The dress works just as well as a shirt, too – wear it over jeans or shorts. Yum. If you had always written Luck Inc off as a brand for club chicks and fashion skanks (hi, that’s me!) give it a try today, you might be surprised.

Also, the very lovely Eboni Khan of House of Hucci is taking part in the Addiction Hunt, and here’s a little picture of the gorgeous dress she has on offer. What you can’t see is how well you can layer the dress — from sheer to completely opaque, just layer it up as you see fit! Absolutely beautiful. Available at her Fusion Crossing location!

The arrival of a mysterious brand called fri.day made a lot of people scratch their chins. Here are some apparent newcomers, accounts created within the last month, all sharing the surname “Monday” – and teaser pictures and a drool-worthy blog have only increased the hype. When a request for bloggers to send notecards to one of the Mondays, and in turn the first ten would receive a review pack, I (literally) dropped my toast and created the card. And then, a beautiful thing happened.

I figured you’ll all be bored of seeing the contents of the review packs, so I’ll briefly show you what it contained, but then I’m going to mix them up into four completely different outfits. This will not be short, but there will be lots of pictures of lovely new clothes!

Hey everyone!

I was planning a giant post full of summery dresses, and was going to abuse that as an opportunity to organise my dresses folder a little better, but while photographing that I re-found this tunic and completely had to use it. I love it far too much. The other colours are so beautiful too, but I’m always a sucker for teal.
