Fashioncracked

This is a special post today because my partner in crime is finally in a post with me! Or um is the subject of my post LOL.  Some of you probably know Akaya she is my best SL friend ever.  She is the other half of our Brand (OMFG) I Love it!  Since I started blogging on fashioncracked, I have made sure to go to all the New releases, sales, even get some review packets.  So red is well stocked with goodies, and has more shoes, skins, and clothes than one avi needs.  Like for instance my two outfits i am showcasing today are from Swansong & Surf Co.  Swansong is a new label by atomicspaarkle owner of Atomicbambi.  I love these two stores b/c the quality in textures and sculpts are so nice!!!  These dresses will be wearable next summer even! that is how classic these two brands are!!  My little Kaftan is perfect for the beach (of course i would wear heels to the beach), and my SC dress is so sailor esq; which happens to be my fav trend in the summer time.  I just paired with NEW accessories from Lelutka and i am all set for vacation!  but not all of us are lucky enough to login to SL daily and shop like some people we all love. Lately Akaya’s RL has been well a circus.  She is basically home to sleep (if that), and her little avi has felt neglected.  I think the past few months when I see her online she has been wearing the same ol’ outfit.  So I thought I would get on her account and change everything about her, everything she has wanted to do, but basically couldn’t.  Girls-Guys! Don’t let your friends feel neglected even if surprising them with an upgraded avi or a new pair of shoes if you can’t go that far!

I am a pretty organized person, my inventory is well filed and anyone could find what they are looking for in there (most of the time).  So when I logged into her account to play dress up.  My surprise was a Monster Mess of an Invie.  So my OCD kicked in and I went into toss mode.  Tossing shit the girl didn’t need.  (Yes! I found nearly 20 pairs of noob shoes)  I think I tossed 5-7k worth of items, and I could still toss another 5-7k im sure. (one day “evil Laugh”)  After going thru all her items I organized her folders by designers; easier to find things that way and one folder for basics, jeans, tanks, bikinis, etc.  so now I knew what she needed.  I bought a few new hairstyles, and my lovely friend Jeanie was nice enough to give her a fatpack of her newest do’, I had to keep in mind her style and what she wears usually.  This isn’t my avi, its hers so needs to fit her style.   I redid her shape completely.  (I made her first one, um a year ½ ago). I bought her the skintones she normally goes for tans, and blonde & brunette hairstyles since she wears both.  Then I mixed her old wardrobe with new key pieces I found on the grid; either from special events, new releases, or my all time favorites and made 4-7 outfits that will last for the summer. ..and some pieces will carry into fall.  Not all the outfits are showcased here; that would have taken alot of time snapping pictures. If you are not a everyday shopper like i am splurge on Skin, hair, and Shoes, quality over quantity any day!  Buy a good pair of denim, and play with accessories to update any look.  Go to the special events many stores offer to snag cute threads at low prices!
