If you haven’t heard of The Dressing Room, you’ve been missing out: it’s a store where various designers sell their wares for a seriously discounted price. The collections change regularly, and the latest includes this gorgeous skin from Tuli at a mere L$65.

You just get the one choice (plus an eyebrow shape which I’m also wearing), but for the price you really can’t complain. The skin is made to Tuli’s usual exacting standards with excellent attention to detail, skin creasing at the joints and subtle shading all over giving the skin a realistic but glamorous feel. The face is particularly charming with its nude lips and smokey eye shadow, the cheeks lifted with a bronzer on the bone.

To show it off without giving everything away, I’m wearing underwear by WoE that’s currently on sale at Rouge with 50% of profits being donated for the sim’s upkeep. The Olivia set comes with bodice, knickers and several choices of hosiery in various shades – I haven’t shown those here, but opted instead for stockings by Insolence which I paired with this garter belt from one of Camille Yosuke’s delightful sets. The colour and style is an almost perfect match to the WoE outfit and in my opinion adds extra appeal to this sexy set.

I’m a huge fan of pearls in both lives and have been delighted by the number of creators who stock pearl jewellery. Caroline Apollo’s latest release is a pearl posing set which supplies you with colour change necklaces in various styles to go with her poseballs which will drape you glamourously across the floor, entwined in your chosen beads. My favourite is easily the broken necklace which has pearls still falling from the broken string – quite beautiful and wide open for artistic interpretation in your shots.

Truth Hawks continues to feed my hair addiction, continuing to produce high-quality styles with glorious textures whatever your colour preferences. This Tina style comes with a texture change bow which can be removed (made invisible) if you prefer it; the style has a rather more whimsical feel with the accent and more of a dressy updo without. Pinned up with loose tendrils spiralling down at the sides and wisps of hair floating free at the back, the hair doesn’t feel static but rather soft and romantic.

Exodi is releasing a new skinline today called Dael.  This is such a pretty skin and deserves a demo test!  Tp over to Exodi today and try it out! Dael is a pretty skin available in 4 skin tones, 10 makeups per tone, with light and dark brows, freckles, and cleavage options for each. Individual skins will be sold for $1,000L, with packs of 5 going for $3,000L and the fatpack of 10 skins for $5,000L.

The overall look of the Dael is beautiful.  Deal has gorgeous features, great shading and highlights, and you can tell hours of attention to detail took up a lot of Rykers time.  My favorite part of the skin is the subtle glow which is perfect for summer looks.  I love all the makeup choices Dael has to offer.  The eye shadows have to be my favorite and are all very playful.  I love the pouty lips, but I do wish the lower lip wasn’t so shaded; if it was just a tad lighter it would be perfect; but the shading is not that noticeable and doesn’t take anything away from the beauty in the face.  I also am not a fan of extra highlighting around the top lip.  A small amount is ok but I could do without it all together.  

The things I didn’t like about the skin are minor imperfections that are really not noticeable.   The nostril shading is too dark for me, there are a few seams that are in hidden places (back of the neck and ankles), and I am not a fan of the nipples (too big and I do not like the photo sourced texture).  These things are very minor and I will not notice them much b/c I wear prim shoes a lot that covers the ankle, I am rarely topless in photos, and I will live with extra shading in my nose I would still encourage you to buy this skin because it is very beautiful and the overall look is amazing.

There are days i love SL and there are days I completely hate LL.  Last month I decided to venture out from my platform above my shop and buy a little cute parcel in my friends neighborhood.   I took the next month or so finding the perfect little accessories for my house.  I have to say it looked so cute, and just how i would dress my house up if i was single irl. I was super proud of my decorating skills and it took all my time, patience, and money lol. I havenever had a parcelor house to myself before.  I had always lived on a platform in the sky with my partner in crime Akaya. But i loved having it, and my neighbors were complete dolls too!!

Well short story…my friend decided to give up her sim and downgrade.  so i found a new home thx to Spud & Sona! <3 I packed up my house and all of its No copy contents in one bulk; making the whole bulked item no copy in my inventory. I want to say 80% of my 700 prim + place was no copy. (sadface)  I later unpacked my house on my new parcel and logged out.  I logged in the next day to find LL had complete several rollbacks on a ton of sims and my house had disappeared.  well my new parcel happened to be in that selected sim. Panic! ive lost my house! Since it was no copy i had nothing in my massive inventory. (or what i think is massive) This week i finally decided to blog again and set my house down.  Now time to restart the decorating process… my house is completely bare except for this small box lol; so i can have a seat.

Hey lovelies!

I am SO excited to have some of these skins to show you. I saw them on my friend Moo a while ago and they were so pretty on her I sneak attacked her (here on Flickr) while we were standing around getting my sim ready to open. And then… Launa Fauna opened up a call for bloggers to try her new skin line. I signed up so fast I nearly spilled my coffee. And, my friends, coffee is a definite priority around these parts lately.

L.Fauna is the new name of Chai skins, which have been knockin’ around the grid far far longer than little old me has. Which is scary, because that’s three years in January. I can’t even give you an SLURL, it doesn’t exist yet, but please please keep a look out for these. They are stunning. They’re so smooth, the shadowing is perfect and I am in creepy, drooly, vain love with them. FAP.

Skintone shown is Tan 1, which is probably the mid-tone of the six available. All skins come with tintable brows and lips. Look at those lips, people. The best lips I have ever seen on a skin, hands down, bar none. I want to make out with myself. And not even just for beer.

Hey lovelies!

So, I’ve been pretty vocal in my dislike of LeLutka since the behemouth drama that was Skingate 08. When the most recent Eclat skins got plastered over people’s faces, I thought they were boring and flat. But I’m willing to keep trying with most things, often to the extent of being an idiot… but not this time. When Estelle came out, I dutifully toddled over to LeLutka and grabbed a demo. And I really, really liked it.

I love that the hair I’m wearing in these pictures came free with the fatpack, as well as a set of really cute lashes. I generally don’t wear hair bases, but for this I can make an exception.

Okay, the skin has flaws. The buttcrack is a lazy strip with a weird butthole-y dot, and the spine would give a model thinspiration, aaand the body still looks like your spray tanner is playing a cruel joke on your torso… but that face? Unnnngh. So cute.

I have huge news. It involved male skins and Hermony. That’s my news. Hermony is coming out with male skins! Just to tell you how much I’m loving them, I made over my avi just to use it. It’s pretty flawless, in my opinion. This is the neutral face, but there are tons of different options and combinations – from various levels of eyeshadow that you can mix and match with facial hair options. Various tones, facial hair options.. Ah, I’m so excited! Finally a new men’s skin that competes with the “big boys” – sit down, Abyss/Belleza!
