I’m so over Vday! I am prob the most girliest girl eva; but i have to  say im about done with all the love.  Ahh so you think im some single old crabby female with a broken lonely heart!? No just the opposite; but Vday always lets me down; its never all its hyped up to be! So this is my outfit choice for AntiValentine Day! While some of it is a little gothic for my taste, I always feel a little envious when I see someone else wrapped in one of Raven Pennyfeather’s creations. Hello!

Yesterday was my third rezday. How very weird. It seems like an odd concept, to celebrate being such a huge nerd that when you tell your friends what you do for a living, they look at you funny. Or worse, think they understand! It usually goes like this:

Me: I use 3d rendering software to position avatars, it allows people to take photos of themselves in Second Life

Friend: Like, sex animations?

Me: No, not sex animations. Just normal stands, and some poses for multiple avatars, so they can take photos with their friends

Friend: What, people have friends?

Me: Of course!

Friend: And then they have sex with them? Cos that’s all people do in Second Life, right?

Me: *sigh* Right.

Anyway. Here’s my rezday outfit, and a bunch of reflection on what Second Life means to me. But you don’t have to read that. Look at the pretty outfit.

Lookit the pretty necklace. Vintage McMillan, purveyor of cute hair, shiny sunglasses (like the ones pictured) and my faaavourite necklaces on the whole grid under the brand [mpb] shared some of his loooovely new stuff with me. I’m not gonna admit I spent like an hour pawing at the screen and drooling, but let’s just say I spent like an hour pawing at the screen and drooling.

Where I’ve been doesn’t matter, the real scoop is that I was lucky enough to be on the receiving end of review copies of the new 5th&Oxford Brooke skin. It usually takes me a while to get settled in a different skin, but I have to say that Brooke felt immediately comfortable, enough for me to strut down to Gol and shake my new bootay in public. Don’t you just love cuddling up to the fire on a snowy day? When Aya Liotta sent me her newest creation for her grande opening of Abode; that is just what i imagined with this lovely cottage.  This is so well put together and the textures are fabulous!
I pictured myself cuddled up on my couch next to the lovely fireplace. Which just may be my fav part of the home. I feel like i am on a Ski trip warming up by the fire getting my toes toasty!
Lets talk about the House & Decor! Along with the great fireplace this home comes with 2 rooms and a cozy patio.  I chose to keep my home girly and playful and mixed Abiss/Morantique colaboration Couch, I just love the texture so chic and Glam! The Bookshelf was sent to me by Colleen from The Loft.  The Little curtain on the bottom is so dainty and comes with texture change menu!
The shelf also came with a picture frame (not pictured)

Now what we have all been waiting for the Fashion: I went with a Snow Bunny look! I look so comfy, Cozy, and Sheek! My friend Jeanie Valosis from (Posh) just released this stunning new hair with cute beanie w/ a delicate flower. 
The hair texture is prob one of my fav on the grid. It looks so soft and natural. I chose Dirty Blonde for my snapshots. Check out the full line of (Posh)’s newest hair below: Rosey Love comes in 14 different textures.  The jeans are my latest obsession from Decoy

Sophia Harlowchallenged all the bloggers to pull out the past and compare your past and present self! Here it goes! I have been in SL since September of 2008, i pulled my old look from my first runway walk with Chez Gabrielle.  Yes its true before i designed, blogged, and even shopped…I modeled!!  Its a great way to meet people, become familiar with designers, and learn how to pull yourself together.  

I remember being so nervous irl about this show, my hands got sweaty, I didn’t let my BF even come in the room while I was turning and posing; forget about talking to me! Forget it! Funny thing is I had to go through a series of classes and ummm not to mention 10,000L (tuition alone) to end up looking like this….

My skin was not terrible; hey it was a Redgrave, but it was my very first skin purchase; it could have been worse ! My hair was very in then I wore this do all damn day! Practically never changed it! The shape was made for me; (gee thanks), and the shoes I will never forget! I won them! at a club the prize was shoes!!! How could I not win! Hehe it was actually my first shopping experience at Stiletto Moody. After that I was hooked! It’s silly how much I have spent on that brand when to tell you the truth they sit in my closet and collect dust… all 25 of them….*sigh*…..Now lets fast-forward about a year and some change…Here is my most recent side of me! I change my skin more times than I change my undies! (lol) This was just my latest creation so I’ve been wearing it til I buy/make the next whichever comes first! This outfit was clearly made after I shopped the DU3 event.  

The dress is Gawjus! I love the Fur Bolero!! This outfit makes me feel all warm and tingly! I love this vintage era look and I love warm jackets! This I could use in RL! The hair I found at the new releases at Paper Couture! I didn’t snag it the first time I went shopping; but after I found this dress and jacket I knew what hair I was going to wear b/c of the great Headband!! I wish the headband was sold separate (pouty face).

Now look how much i have seriously changed over a year; I went from fake bake Super Model Barbie to Vintage Crème Brulee cupcake! I personally love my shape now! Can you believe I was 7ft tall before and where did my butt go?!! I think my av is 5′6 atm/ haha I keep getting shorter! Soon ill be my RL size 5′1 …5′5 with great shoes *winks* My hips and ass have also grown and I have a more curvier figure.  Before i was a glamazon!
